About
It all started with exploration...
Exploration is one of my favorite pastimes. My inquisitive nature has trickled into my UX career...where a love for discovery turned specifically toward people, their behaviors, and their interactions with devices. Listening, observing and empathizing helps me create meaningful User Experience Design that aligns with business goals.
I studied Graphic Design at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. I began my career at an ad agency, followed by a small Silicon Valley startup where I wore many hats, and led Visual Design at an insurance company. After attending a UX immersive program at General Assembly, I began my UX journey by venturing into the IoT and IDM space, tech, and HR service.
I now live in Florida with my husband, daughter, son, and chickens, where I enjoy the rich diversity of people, culture and scenery. I enjoy creative problem-solving, collaborating with others, and advocating for UX—blending my love for aesthetics with how systems function. I am inspired daily by my family, friends, and nature. In my free time, I enjoy martial arts, hiking, being creative, homesteading, and spending time with loved ones.
